Nothing To Commend Her - Jo Barrett I loved the story, the heroine was maybe a little "out of her time" but mostly she was a sensible young woman. She had some insecurities but did not dwell on them and when things went wrong, she talked with the hero, a novel concept in most romance books. The hero also had his insecurities (justified) but he worked towards a happy ending. The form in which the happy ending would be in his eyes, changed a few times but again, hero and heroine talked and sorted things out.

The book was somewhat reminiscent to Lynne Victoria's "With this Kiss"(?), however I still enjoyed it tremendously.

I knew fairly early who the villain was and also guess the secret of the heroine American pen pal, again it did not deter from the story or the enjoyment of the book.
