When His Kiss Is Wicked - Kaitlin O'Riley I did like it. I would have liked a little more groveling on the hero's part. Also, given the heroine had been forced to take the role as parent for many years, her mother had legally the right to do what she did, however, I think I could not have forgiven her that easily. I assume she was forgiven as the author never really mentioned it anymore after the initial confrontation between mother and daughter. Yes, marriage for the oldest was important for all of them and Colette's work did distract or could have given the times been a negative in the search for a husband but it was pretty mean thing to do. The hero's part in it was made with the best intentions but he was reasonable intelligent, what did he expect when Colette found? As the saying goes: "the road to hell is paved with the best intentions"

In all, I am looking forward to the books about Colette's sisters.
