After my daughter's dog, Baby, had to be put down, my husband and I tracked the artist Ron Burns down. We had seen his work at local vets and shelters and wanted to ease our daughter's pain about Baby's passing.

This is the result.

Funny enough, our daughter had looked into this as well but for us and as an anniversary gift.

At first it was supposed to be a surprise for her but then we thought she should be able to pick which photo she wanted to have immortalized. Ron Burns also offered to arrange for reproductions and before the painting comes to her it will go a special photography studio so we can get prints made. There were several facilities who helped with Baby's problems my daughter wants to thank and in addition to thank-you cards, they will receive a poster as well.
